PURPOSE OF COURSE

MIDMAR is managing a project to build a learning e-platform, and it has a development team to do the task of setting up, programming, and testing the e-platform, and we need to feed the e-platform with high-level courses, diplomas, and educational programs. The pharmacists as apart of Syrian health workers, they are part of the heath system in any country, therefore empowering them will positively affect the quality of the health services. The pharmacists are working in the industries, pharmacies, medical marketing, and research and development departments in the pharmaceutical industries. Thus, providing capacity development opportunities for the pharmacists will Eventually serve the people in the targeted communities. In this regard providing “Health Tech solutions in Pharmacy” to the pharmacists will:

•  Provide the pharmacists in best practices in the health Tech solutions in Pharmacy which help them to create new technical solutions that are useful for their work and for the patient.
• Increase their opportunity to manage and deals with new technologies that improve the services in the health sector.
•  Provide better health services based on technological solutions.

E PLATFORM OVERVIEW

The e-platform is meant to serve as a virtual space for health Syrian professionals, including doctors, nurses, midwives, paramedics and other professions, to share knowledge, contribute to relevant knowledge product development (such as research papers, internal debates, feedback to papers etc.) and exchange experiences – maybe even medical cases – from a technical/medical point of view.   The area for technical exchange,  taking part in virtual meetings, trainings, webinars, other forms of knowledge creation and dialogue is supposed to be only accessible after registration (and after approval granted specifically) for healthcare workers (internal log-in area). Furthermore, the platform is meant to have a landing page, publicly accessible, on which we seek to provide general health-related content changing on a weekly or bi-monthly basis.   MIDMAR approach mainly aims to focus on providing health care professionals with the utmost value they can get from the platform while abide by the timeline and budget restrictions.
