MIDMAR works primarily on empowering and developing the community, through building social capital and improving social mobility management. MIDMAR projects focus on creating solutions to better utilize resources, improving the skills of the targeted groups, discovering untapped opportunities to invest in them, and transforming individual values into collective values, as well as focusing on supporting community relations to turn them into participatory relations rather than competitive. All of the above is achieved through our three major programs, which are community empowerment, economic empowerment and innovation, and empowerment of civil society.
M&E Officer will be responsible for the following tasks and duties:
✅Developing and implementing M&E systems, plans, tools, and indicators for the projects.
✅Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the progress, outcomes and impacts of the projects’ activities.
✅Maintain projects progress tracking in a timely manner.
✅Conducting Mid-term, and final evaluation for the project according to OECD criteria.
✅Conducting baseline studies, assessments, surveys, and evaluations related to the organization’s objectives and interventions.
✅Establishing and maintaining accountability mechanisms to ensure that the project or organization is responsive to the needs, expectations and feedback of the beneficiaries and stakeholders.
✅Documenting and disseminating lessons learned, best practices, success stories and case studies from the projects and organization’s interventions.
✅Take the lead in submitting the monthly data for the project’s results.
✅Providing technical support and capacity building to the project or organization’s staff and partners on M&E related issues.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as statistics, development studies, etc.
Technical Skills and Experience:
✅At least one year of experience in M&E-related work in NGO.
✅Knowledge and skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting using various methods and software.
✅Strong skills in advanced Excel, Power BI, Kobo, and Microsoft Forms.
✅Very good communication skills in both written and spoken English (B2 at least).
✅Knowledge and skills in designing and implementing M&E systems, plans, tools, and indicators, preferably have M&E DPro certificate.
✅Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work without supervision.
✅Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
