MIDMAR works primarily on empowering and developing the community, through building social capital and improving social mobility management. Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks and duties: ▪ Human Resources (HR):✓ Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, working closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth hiring process. ✓ Manage employee records, contracts, and benefits administration. ✓ Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and professional growth.
▪ Accounting:
✓ Lead the daily business of the accounting section. ✓ Prepare and monitor budgets in collaboration with relevant departments and projects. ✓ Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits. ✓ Control the money transfer from the head office to the field offices.
▪ Procurement:
✓ Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. ✓ Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms and contracts.
▪ Information Technology (IT):✓ Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. ✓ Manage the data security and privacy measures are in place and adhered to.
▪ Legal and Admin:
✓ Navigate legal matters by collaborating with legal counsel and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. ✓ Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documents as needed. ✓ Maintain accurate records related to legal proceedings, contracts, and compliance efforts. ✓ Manage office facilities, supplies, and services, maintaining a conducive work environment. ✓ Plan and coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for staff and stakeholders.
▪ Safety and Security:✓ Develop and implement safety and security policies, protocols, and emergency response plans. ✓ Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to conduct risk assessments and ensure staff well-being. ✓ Stay informed about local and global security trends, adapting strategies accordingly.

- ▪A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a relevant field is required.
- ▪A master’s degree is a plus.
Technical skills and Experience:
- ▪ At least 3 years of progressive experience in operations management within the NGO or nonprofit sector. ▪ Comprehensive understanding of HR, accounting, procurement, IT, legal, administrative, and security principles. ▪ Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. ▪ Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office suite and financial management tools. ▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. ▪ Adaptable and flexible mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic and changing environment. ▪ Deep commitment to the MIDMAR’s mission and values, with an unwavering dedication to ethical conduct.
