The project is designed to develop the human capital of Syrian communities by developing the capabilities of Syrian women to have income generating professions which leads to enhancing public health services via women representation in health institutions and via increasing learning, participation, employability and social recognition of women in rural areas in Syria.
The project covers two programs aiming to strengthen women’s role in rural communities, as well as to strengthen rural societies through building sustainable civil, women-empowering networks and health structures across Syria, via having at least one female Community Health Workers (CHWs) or Psychosocial Support Workers (PSWs) in every accessible village in Syria
